Northeast Supply Enhancement (NESE) Project

The NESE project is an expansion of Williams' existing Transco pipeline network, aimed at increasing the system's daily capacity by 400,000 dekatherms to meet the energy needs of approximately 2.3 million homes across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. The project includes the use of updated materials and electric motor-driven compressors to reduce emissions and noise, contributing to environmental objectives by reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 13,000 tons. Construction began after obtaining all necessary federal and state permits, with an expected service entry in the fourth quarter of 2027.
