Costain and A E Yates are partnering with Hyperion Robotics to deliver low-carbon concrete components for the Northern Endurance Partnership's major Teesside carbon capture infrastructure project. They will produce approximately 90 high-strength concrete pipe support bases, or sleepers, for the onshore CO2 gathering system. The sleepers will support 1.3km of onshore CO2 pipelines across Teesside and will be manufactured using advanced robotic 3D printing technology, reducing material use and carbon emissions.
