Description
Description | The Northern European Sea Basins project focuses on maritime spatial planning in the North Sea with a strong interlinkage with the Baltic Sea. The aim is to ensure that issues related to MSP are approached in a cross-border manner. From this, solutions and recommendations follow that are needed to get and keep MSP future-proof for both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. The NESBp aims to strengthen collaboration between North Sea countries and between the North Sea and Baltic Sea region. The project aims to link between the GNSBI and HELCOM-VASAB, promoting knowledge sharing and networking between sea basins to enable strategic and efficient marine spatial based on established cooperations within the eMSP NBSR project. , the project will utilize knowledge gained from other MSP projects in the EU Green Deal to ensure its successful implementation, laying a strong foundation for future development. NESBp aims to change the silo type of working by linking different international cooperations and promote international cooperation and alignment of marine plans and related themes.
