This project will be build using TE and local funds. The project generally forms a loop around the large block containing Northlake Mall, an office park, and apartment complexes. It begins near the intersection of Briarcliff Road and LaVista Road, continues in front of the mall, following Henderson Mill Road, Northlake Parkway, and Parklake Drive. The improvements are proposed for only the interior loop of these roads. Six hundred linear feet of additional improvements on the east shoulder of Rachwood Drive are also included. Streetscaping improvements include 6' concrete sidewalk, brickwork, lighting, and limited landscaping at select high profile areas. A portion of the roadway along the front side of the mall along Briarcliff Road and Henderson Mill Road already contains sidewalk. Where sidewalk already exists, improvements are limited to brickwork, lighting, handrail and minimal landscaping.
