Description | Northside Hospital Atlanta in Sandy Springs is undergoing a $46 million multi-phase expansion and renovation of its emergency department. The project includes adding 18 treatment rooms, a new entry and triage area, expanded space for emergency care teams, renovation of approximately 7,815 square feet of existing ground floor space, and construction of a two-story, 67,537-square-foot expansion across the ground and first floors. Additionally, a new 17,000-square-foot parking structure with 54 spaces will be built for emergency department patients and visitors. The emergency department will remain open and operational throughout the project, which is expected to be completed in early 2028. |
