Notsi Solar Project

under construction

The Notsi project is South Africa's largest single-phase solar photovoltaic plant located in the Free State province. Developed by independent power producer Anthem, it is a 9-billion-rand renewable energy project supplying power to corporate buyers under long-term agreements. The project includes construction of a transmission substation to address grid infrastructure limitations, which will be transferred to the national grid operator Eskom. There is potential for future addition of battery storage to enhance grid flexibility.
