Description | Novilla RNG has completed and commissioned a new renewable natural gas (RNG) facility in northern Vermont. The facility processes raw biogas from dairy farm digesters and upgrades it into pipeline-quality renewable natural gas, using technology from Unconventional Gas Solutions and Mayekawa USA Inc. The plant is designed to operate efficiently in corrosive environments and reduce operating costs by eliminating extensive pretreatment and certain hydrogen sulfide removal processes. It is expected to offset approximately 110,000 MMBtu of fossil-based natural gas annually in Vermont. |
