Description | The NSA East Apartments project involves the adaptive reuse of the former Naval Support Activity East Bank warehouses in New Orleans. The redevelopment will transform the three large warehouses into 294 affordable housing units and approximately 30,000 to 37,000 square feet of retail space. The project also includes the establishment of a Newlab innovation hub for climate and energy technology startups and public green spaces on the waterfronts. Phase One construction started in January 2026 and is expected to be completed over the next two years. Phase Two plans include converting the third building into an Innovation Center leveraging a $50 million Newlab incubator complex. |
