Information CPWD has come up with NSG AT KOLKATA with a ticket size of 210.83 INR Crores. This project in Public Space Development sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project It is submitted that the main/substantial construction works of the project which includes Office Buildings, Residential Buildings, Jawans Barracks, Training Infrastructure including Indoor Shooting Range have been completed in 2019-20 at a total cost of Rs 180 Cr approx. The completed project has been inaugurated by the Hon'ble Union Home Minister on 01/03/2020 .The relevant pictures are attached for perusal please. The NSG Hub at Kolkata is functional at present and performing their designated mandated duties. The remaining construction works which includes rock climbing wall, underground explosive magazine, balance sports facilities, aquatic facility amounting to Rs 30 Cr approx are only ancillary in nature and as such do not impede on the designated mandated duties of NSG. At present, the work of underground explosive magazine has commenced and the expected date of completion of remaining works is December, 2024. In view of the facts mentioned above, it is requested to drop the Project ID : 5010 NSG at Kolkata of MHA Project without issues from the PMG portal. Regards.
