Centre of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes (CMEPIUS) acting as designated NSS for Slovenia since 2015 is a public institution established by the government of Slovenia to work in the field of international cooperation and mobility in the fields of education and training. During project lifetime NSS SI will implement several activities in order to achieve general objectives and two major objectives outlined in the Invitation to submit proposals for EPALE NSSs. Beside objectives, envisaged by the EACEA, NSS SI will follow national priorities set in ReNPIO 2021-2030 (The Resolution on the National Programme of Adult Education in the Republic of Slovenia for the period 2021-2030) and CMEPIUS’s institutional priorities for AE field - contribution to professional development of adult educators and adult education organisations, namely to enhance digital skills and competences of educators, and to contribute to reaching higher level of literacy for adults in Slovenia, namely media literacy. NSS SI will implement EPALE activities in synergy with Erasmus+ programme by implementing well established ongoing activities as well as promote and present the use and possibilities of new features. NSS SI will also continue to liaise with key stakeholders, such as Slovenian Institute for Adult Education (SIAE) the central public institution for adult education in the Republic of Slovenia, acting also act as National Coordinator for the Implementation of the European Agenda for Adult Learning (EAAL) in supporting the implementation of EAAL activities (live web streaming of EAAL forums) as well as implement at least one EAAL event jointly with SIAE in a form of EPALE verbal discussion in Slovenian language. We plan to continue fostering regional cooperation among NSSs of BiH, SRB, HR and MN through joint activities resulting designing Regional media literacy training module for adult educators.
