Description | Development work at the Ntorya gas project in Tanzania is progressing with pipeline construction and upstream activities aligned for first gas in 2026. The pipeline linking the Ntorya gas field to the Madimba gas processing plant is under construction, with pipe manufactured and scheduled to arrive in Tanzania in late January 2026. Groundwork and pipelaying are expected to begin shortly thereafter, targeting completion and commissioning in Q3 2026. Preparations for bringing the Ntorya-2 well into production are advancing, with contracting for services well progressed. A local construction company has been awarded a civil works contract for well pad preparation, rehabilitation, and site preparation for upstream production facilities and access roads. The 2026 work program and budget, exceeding $50 million, have been approved by Tanzanian authorities. |
