Description

The project involves the construction of a water treatment plant located near the Agoula River and at the town of Ntoum, Estuaire province in Gabon's northwest. The plant will have a capacity of 140,000 cubic metres of water per day (m3pd) and 105,000 m3pd during low-water periods. Construction works includes laying 54 km of raw water pipes, as well as 1.5 km of drinking water pipes to connect the new infrastructures to the Gabonese Energy and Water Company(SEEG) network. The DBFOM concession has been awarded to Orélo, a JV partnership between the Gabonese Strategic Investment Fund (FGIS) and the French industrial group Eranove. The total value of the project is $183.18 million. The Gabonese government signed the PPP agreement with Orélo on 13 September, 2022.
