The project is part of NTPC's energy diversification plan and aligns with India's ambition to achieve 100 GW nuclear capacity by 2047. NTPC officials are currently conducting a feasibility study, and the Bihar government has assured full support including water availability. The project is estimated to require around 1,000 acres of land and an investment of approximately Rs 25,000 crore. A detailed project report will be prepared after the feasibility study is completed. |
