Description | NextEra Energy and Google Cloud are collaborating to develop multiple gigawatt-scale data center campuses across the United States, leveraging nuclear power to support the electrical grid and meet the energy demands of large-scale AI operations. The first three campuses are in active development, with a target to release the first commercial technology product by mid-2026. The project also includes restarting the Duane Arnold Energy Center in Iowa and adding 600 megawatts of clean energy capacity to Oklahoma's electricity grid. |
