Description | Information Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has come up with Numaligarh - Siliguri Pipeline Project with a ticket size of 860 INR Crores. This project in Bulk Material Transportation Pipelines sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project This project is being carried out to augment capacity of Numaligarh Siliguri Product Pipeline from present 1.72 MMTPA to 5.5 MMTPA to enable evacuation of additional product from the new 6 MMTPA refinery of NRL. In addition to upgrading the facilities at Dispatch and Receipt terminals, four nos. of existing intermediate pigging stations will be converted to intermediate pumping stations to achieve capacity augmentation. |
