Description | Information NRL has come up with Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project 3 MMTPA to 9 MMTPA with a ticket size of 18968 INR Crores. This project in Refining sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Numaligarh Refinery Limited is executing a project for expansion of its capacity from 3 MMTPA to 9 MMTPA by setting up a new train of process units of 6 MMTPA capacity within the existing refinery premises. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs [CCEA] has approved the project in January 2019. The new train of refinery shall process imported crude oil transported from Paradip for which a new cross-country pipeline is being laid simultaneously as part of the integrated mega expansion project. |
