Nusantara New Capital City Project

under construction

Construction of Nusantara, a new futuristic capital city in Indonesia, is underway on Borneo island. The project aims to build a greener, technologically advanced city to replace Jakarta as the political capital. The city includes government districts, green parks, office buildings, and infrastructure such as a dam and water treatment plant. The project faces delays due to logistics, funding challenges, and political changes, with concerns about environmental impact and effects on Indigenous populations.
