NWC Water and Sanitation Initiative in Riyadh

The National Water Company (NWC) has launched an initiative to implement 30 new water and sanitary drainage projects in the Riyadh region. The projects include the construction of water lines and networks totaling 1,955 kilometers, 18 water reservoirs with a total capacity of nearly 85,000 cubic meters, pumping stations with a daily volume of over 247,000 cubic meters, and sewerage lines with a network length of nearly 763 kilometers along with lifting stations with a capacity of 117,000 cubic meters per day. The initiative aims to strengthen the water distribution system, eliminate environmental damage, and achieve water security and environmental balance in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
