Description

Description

This project, spanning the 11th and 12th cycles of the EU Youth Dialogue, aims to empower young people by fostering meaningful participation in shaping youth policies at local, national, and European levels. The initiative builds on the successes of previous cycles while introducing activities intended to engage both organised and non-organised young people. Over 3 years, the project will follow a structured approach across 6 phases aligned with the EU Youth Dialogue framework. Each of the 2 cycles incorporate planning, youth engagement, and dissemination activities. The National Working Group will guide the process, organising activities such as YO Meetups with youth organisations, seminars for student councils, and participation Freshers' Week activities across different campsuses to reach students in post-secondary and tertiary institutions. Special efforts will be made to engage young people outside traditional structures, ensuring inclusivity and diversity in participation. Focus groups and surveys will be used to gather feedback on the themes defined by the European Steering Committee, and the results will be shared through newsletters, social media updates, and stakeholder conferences. A strong emphasis will be placed on connecting young people with policymakers to facilitate dialogue and influence decision-making processes. The project’s impact ranges from enhancing youth engagement in policy discussions to supporting the implementation of the EU Youth Goals. Dissemination efforts will maximise outreach and ensure the visibility of EU funding. Sustainability is prioritised through follow-up mechanisms, such as integrating outcomes into national policy discussions and building synergies with other EU-funded activities. By creating a platform for young voices to be heard and fostering connections with policymakers, this project seeks to advance the EU’s youth strategy and contribute to meaningful, lasting social change.
