NY27 over Hubbards Path Bridge Deck Replacement

This project on the NY27 (Sunrise Highway) over Hubbards Path bridge proposes to replace the deteriorating concrete bridge deck and the steel bridge rail with a new bridge deck that will last over 40 years and a new reinforced concrete parapet wall that meets today's crash resistance standards. The bridge will also be made jointless to eliminate leakage below to prevent further deterioration to the concrete piers and abutments. The proposed work will preserve and prolong the service life of these existing structures and help maintain their reliability and integrity to assure the continued safety of the traveling public.
