The Hydro-mechanical Equipment works was completed by Nepal Hydro & Electric Works for US$0.59 million. Construction started in June 2009. Total cost was unknown, but estimated at US$5 million (conservatively based on US$1 million/MW). Financial closure date was estimated at April 2010, based on the 25% rule.
