However, after more than a year of work, Con Edison cancelled the program quietly in April 2025, with no public announcement. The pilot was supposed to be a precursor to a larger $25 million federal grant project to build more charging infrastructure at NYCHA campuses, but no progress has been made on the larger project a year later. |
