Description

Description

Through the Nicaragua Youth and Communities Secure, Empowered and Resilient (NYCSER) addendum to the FY 2020 YouthPower 2 (YP2) Annual Program Statement (APS) No. 7200AA20APS00007, USAID/Nicaragua seeks to have empowered and resilient youth and their communities equipped to advocate for and address their own interests and security. USAID seeks targeted support for vulnerable youth from select municipalities of Nicaragua, namely Managua, Masaya, Bilwi and Waspam. NYCSER sees Nicaragua’s youth as a priority population that can be supported to advance their knowledge, civic life and employment for their own development and that of their communities. The NYCSER activity goal is consistent with the Agency’s vision for youth and the journey to self-reliance whereby an “ intentional, age-appropriate, and gender-transformative programming will be one of the best ways to affect norms that can foster a culture of self-reliance, accountability, entrepreneurship and good governance
