The tank will initially be supplied by well water from Heritage Farm Park and later draw water from a 12-inch water main along N.C. 150 extending from Forsyth County. Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities will provide water service through this new infrastructure. The Oak Ridge Town Council approved a $4.4 million contract with Park Construction to build the water main, with construction starting in fall 2025 and expected to take about one year. The project is funded through grants and subject to state regulatory approval. |
