Description | The State Cabinet approved a land swap between Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority (APTA) to facilitate the establishment of a luxury hotel by the Oberoi Group in Tirupati Rural mandal. The swap involves exchanging 24.68 acres of APTA land in Survey No. 604 at Peruru village with 25 acres of TTD land in Survey No. 588A of the same village. This decision revives an earlier plan for the Oberoi Group's hotel project at a new location after cancellation of the original land allotment due to opposition and objections. |
