The project has faced delays due to the challenge of crossing the River Niger underwater between Ndoni in Rivers State and Aboh in Delta State. The river crossing segment remains incomplete, and the completion date is uncertain. The pipeline is crucial for gas monetization projects in the eastern Niger Delta and for supplying gas to the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas line. |
