Description | This project involves the construction of Oeste Serido wind complex, located in Parelhas municipality, state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The complex should be capable of generating enough power to meet consumption needs of close to 804,000 households. The local renewable energy company Elera Renovaveis is the sponsor of the project, which has a planned capacity of 247.5MW and comprises 55 turbines in total. The total amount of the investment is $286m (R$1.5 billion).
