Office of Street Vendor Services Launch

planned

The City of New York launched the Office of Street Vendor Services to support the city's approximately 23,000 street vendors. The office, part of the Department of Small Business Services, will conduct outreach and educate vendors on laws and the permitting process. This initiative follows legislation reforming street vending passed by the City Council, including expanding permits and decriminalizing most street vending violations.
