Description	The project involves the construction of the 566.5MW Oitis wind complex, located in Brazil. The portfolio will comprise 12 wind farms split between the states of Bahia and Piauí. Iberdrola’s Brazilian subsidiary Neoenergia is developing the project. Total project cost is €480 million ($567.8 million) Construction started in November 2020. It is scheduled for complete commissioning in 2023. It is expected that over 1,500 jobs will be created at peak construction. Part of the capacity is already contracted. Oitis 1 and Oitis 8 were awarded long-term PPAs in the power auction held by the power regulator Aneel in 2018.
