Okanagan-Similkameen - RDOS Building enhancements to prevent the spread of COVID-19

The project will support pandemic response by renovating the administration offices of the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen. The upgrades will ensure that there is ample space to conduct meetings with social distancing limits in place. The project will also improve the HVAC system to ensure air quality is improved. The project will ensure continuity in services by ensuring a safe workplace for staff and the visiting public. Improving the boardroom space and technology will allow for remote access to meetings ensuring that community members can view without having to gather publicly, helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The project works include: - upgrades to the HVAC system including units, fans, dividers and controls; - upgrades and construction of workspaces: - upgrades to boardrooms; and, - all related works.
