Oklahoma County Master Plan Update

Oklahoma County is rewriting its master plan for land development, the first update since 2007. The plan guides housing and commercial development in unincorporated areas of the county for the next 20 to 30 years. The update considers water quality issues, oil pollution from historic oil and gas wells, and infrastructure gaps, particularly around water and wastewater capacity. The planning commission acts as the steering committee, with consulting firm Guernsey managing the project.
