The project involves the large-scale regeneration of the Old Oak Common area in West London into a major mixed-use urban district centred around the new high-speed rail interchange station. Led by Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) in partnership with government agencies and transport authorities, the £10 billion (US$13.3 billion) development will combine residential, commercial, retail, community, and public-realm infrastructure across approximately 70 acres of land. The scheme is planned to deliver around 8,000 new homes, extensive office and commercial space, parks, streets, utilities, and transport connections integrated with HS2, the Elizabeth Line, Great Western Main Line, and Heathrow Express services.
