Olebu Gutter and Wooden Footbridge Rehabilitation

The project involves addressing the widening, unlined gutter and the deteriorating wooden footbridge in Olebu, Ablekuma area of Accra. The gutter is sandy and unconstructed, expanding due to rain erosion, while the wooden footbridge is weakening and broken in parts, posing risks to residents, especially schoolchildren. The Assemblyman is working to engage engineers to identify the responsible agency and plans to construct a temporary safe crossing while working towards a permanent solution under the GARID project framework.
