Description | OLiMPUS is a €9-million Horizon Europe project aiming to develop lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) battery cells using a European supply chain. The project involves producing over 130 automotive-grade cells in pouch and prismatic formats with capacities from 10 to 80 Ah, targeting specific energy up to 220 Wh/kg. Integrals Power supplies the LMFP cathode material and is responsible for scaling up and industrializing the manufacturing process, supporting cell prototyping and validation. The project runs until 2030 with mass production planned for 2032, focusing on EVs and maritime shipping applications. |
