Description | Omega Solar PV Power Plant is a 10.5MW facility located in Village Sangat Pura, District Sangrur, Punjab, India. Omega Solar Projects Private Limited is an SPV wholly owned by the Lanco Group of India (100%). Omega Solar Projects Private Limited has entered into a 25yr PPA with the government of Punjab, facilitated by the Punjab Energy Development Agency. Omega Solar Projects Private Limited reached financial closure in January, 2015. Of the $7.71m USD cost all has been debt financed. Debt financing is provided by the State Bank of India ($3.86m USD), and Lakshmi Vilas Bank ($3.85m USD). Omega Solar PV Power Plant is fully operational as of July, 2015.
