Description
Description | OMV Petrom has received the first electrolyser module for its 20 MW green hydrogen production facility at the Petrobrazi refinery. This project aims to produce sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel, transforming the refinery into a regional hub for sustainable fuel production. The green hydrogen produced will support biofuel output for lower-emission transportation. The project involves delivery of four modules, with the first delivered and the remaining three scheduled for delivery in the coming months. Equipment is supplied by a German firm, with site construction and integration handled by a Romanian company and local suppliers. The plant is expected to produce approximately 3,000 tons of green hydrogen annually and is receiving non-reimbursable financial support. |
