On The Way ...to UEFA 2028

ongoing

On the Way : is a project whose objectives are directly linked to finalisation of the project during UEFA 2028 in Northern Ireland and Ireland. The 30 months’ SCP “On the way to UEFA EURO 2028” is a partnership of Malta FA, Northern Ireland FA, Spanish PE University and a sport club from Greece (Youthorama). In 2024, three major sport global events were hosted in Europe, UEFA EURO 2024, Paris 2024 Olympic Games & Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Thousands of people prepared events that were hosted the previous summer while billions of people watched them. Innovative sport practices were implemented and will change the evolution of sport for the next few years. The aim of this partnership is to measure the inclusion “temperature” of the sport events for the people and publish the Good Practices report in 11 identified areas. The Irish FA is part of the Organising Committee of the UEFA EURO 2028 and through advocacy, we could put into practice for the benefits of Erasmus+ Sport Program countries citizens.
