The drillship will be used for drilling exploration, re-entry completion, and stratigraphic wells across India's east and west coast offshore assets, including ultra-deepwater regions of the Cauvery and Andaman basins. The charter is planned for 36 months with an option to extend by 12 months, supporting ONGC's aggressive exploration plans to boost domestic oil production and expand exploration areas. |
