ONGC Jack-up Accommodation Units Deployment

India's state-controlled Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has initiated the process to hire at least three jack-up type accommodation units for its offshore operations on the west coast. These units will be deployed on key assets including Mumbai High, Neelam & Heera, and Bassein & Satellite to support various offshore tasks and services. The units will be hired on a long-term charter, initially for three years with an option to extend by two years, and are expected to be mobilized by next year with contracts potentially lasting until 2029. Each unit will have a personnel capacity of over 100 and will be equipped with facilities such as a secure bridge linkage, power generation system, operational crane, and helipad. The accommodation units will ensure uninterrupted offshore operations and assist in brownfield projects including repair, maintenance, and structural life extension.
