Description | The Ontario government is advancing plans for a new Emergency Preparedness and Response Headquarters in Toronto. The purpose-built complex will strengthen the province's ability to coordinate rapid, provincewide responses to emergencies such as floods and wildfires. It will also serve as the future home of Ontario Corps, a volunteer unit supporting emergency operations across the province. The headquarters will be built on a 17-acre site at 111 Disco Road in Etobicoke, near Toronto Pearson Airport and major highways. The project is currently in the functional programming stage, with design and construction phases to follow. |
