This project will advance open data hosting and management of large energy-related datasets using a data lake approach on cloud platforms. The project will expand the approach from Amazon Webs Services to other cloud platforms, build the framework to enable the mixture of publicly and privately hosted data within each data lake, and enhance the capabilities of the existing online data catalog to be a central hub for collaboration and open science. Data coverage and the user base will be expanded by providng use cases that combine multiple datasets, models, and/or algorithms.
