OPEN HOUSE Modular Timber Display Rooms

completed

OPEN HOUSE is a modular retail installation designed for the Pyperbleu Collective in Brooklyn, New York. It reinterprets the conventional checkout counter as a spatial installation organized around the idea of an opened domestic facade. The structure consists of three modular units that can be arranged in multiple configurations to serve as a full checkout counter, distributed retail displays, or compact fixtures for pop-up markets and events. The design incorporates shelving, planters, and display systems, emphasizing durability, mobility, and tactile contrast with raw and finished wood surfaces. Fabrication was done in-house with CNC production support from NYC Resistor, maintaining budget and customization.
