Operation Jatayu Drone Surveillance and Kanwar Yatra Infrastructure

Moradabad Municipal Corporation has deployed HD drones under the 'Jatayu Van' project for surveillance of Kanwar pilgrimage routes to ensure safety and smooth conduct of the pilgrimage. The live drone feed is monitored at an integrated command control centre and shared with officers for coordination. Additionally, infrastructure such as a 30-foot-long Lord Shiva idol Shiv Darbar and a Kanwar Yatra shed with a capacity of over 100 people have been set up. Patchwork on routes to significant temples is 80% complete, and teams have been established for light poles and other works. The Kanwar Yatra will be broadcast through cameras and VMD screens installed by the Municipal Corporation.
