Operations Day is designed to support portfolio results by engraining a culture of impact orientation and continuous learning among Executing Agencies of projects financed by the IDB. It will drive improvements by generating knowledge products, promoting cross-project learning, and reinforcing a results-driven mindset. This initiative has 2 main objectives: 1) Strengthen a Culture of Effectiveness: Promote an impact-forward approach that ensures projects are designed, executed, and evaluated with a robust impact orientation and 2) Facilitate Cross-Project Learning: Establish a systematic process to capture, analyze, and share operational insights, lessons learned (or lessons not learned), and best practices. This objective builds a consolidated knowledge base that enables continuous operational progress and reinforces good practices in project execution.
