The new detachments will be located in:Huron County Detachment, 325 Albert Street, ClintonMississauga, 2735 Argentia Road, MississaugaHawkesbury Detachment, 1425 Cameron Street, HawkesburyManitoulin Island Detachment, 54 Boosneck Road, Little CurrentMarathon Detachment, 101 Peninsula Road, Marathon West Parry Sound Detachment, 1 North Road, Parry SoundRainy River District Detachment, 901 Colonization Road West, Fort FrancesMoosonee Detachment, 16 Butcher Road, Moosonee Orillia Detachment, 1 University AvenueCambridge Detachment, 1360 Hespeler Road, Cambridge**In June 2021, the government announced the building of a new modern OPP detachment in Cambridge to replace the former facility that was destroyed by fire in September 2018. The new detachment has been added to the province’s OPP Modernization – Phase 2 project, which also includes the nine completed detachments. Construction of the Cambridge detachment is expected to begin in fall 2021 and completed by mid-2023. |
