Description | The Oppidan Data Center is a 61,500-square-foot data center located at 9630 N Virginia St. in Reno. The application was submitted in November 2024 and approved in March 2025. It is down the street from the Webb Data Center near Stead Boulevard. The project was issued building permits and is currently under construction as of May 2026. It plans to use 8 acre-feet of water and 8 megawatts of power per year, equivalent to water use for 8 to 16 homes and power use for 3,200 to 7,200 homes. |
