The campus hosts AI infrastructure for OpenAI and is associated with a proposed 17-mile natural gas pipeline, which has faced delays due to denial of route crossing state trust lands. The project promises up to 4,000 construction jobs, $384 million in annual economic impact during buildout, $50 million for local water system improvements, and $360 million directed toward schools and infrastructure. |
