Oracle's Project Jupiter is a 2.5 GW data center campus in New Mexico that relies on a natural gas pipeline, the 17-mile Green Chile Project, to supply up to 400 million cubic feet of gas per day to power Bloom Energy fuel cells. The project faces regulatory challenges as the New Mexico State Land Office has rejected the pipeline proposal twice due to concerns over water use, emissions, and insufficient state revenue. This rejection threatens the project's August 15 in-service target and may delay construction into the next year. Oracle continues to engage with state officials and partners, while Energy Transfer pursues permits.
