Description | The project envisages the construction and operation of a powership with a total capacity of 240 MW. The Turkish company Karadeniz Energy Group designs, owns and operates fleet of power stations and then rents the facility to countries which have urgent need of power supply. The delivery is usually done within 90 days after requesting the plant. Contracts are usually signed for short period of time - 5 to 7 years. The project reached financial closure after the sponsor tied up funds amounting $120.5 million, denominated in Euro and USD. The remaining funds are provided by the sponsor - $59.5 million.
