Description | _x000C_The proposed project consists of term financing to be provided by IFC to five ORIX Group Non Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) operating in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region all of whom are either current or previous IFC portfolio clients and have been established with the assistance of IFC. These companies are ORIX Leasing Pakistan Limited (OLP), ORIX Investment Bank Pakistan Limited (OIBPL), Oman ORIX Leasing Company (OOLC), ORIX Leasing Egypt (OLE) and Saudi ORIX Leasing Company (SOLC). The proceeds of the financing will be on-lent by the borrowers predominantly to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their respective markets in the form of leases or medium term loans. The proposed aggregate amount of the program is expected to be US$50 million, with a tenor of up to 8 years, including a grace period of up to 2 years. |
